DACK Releases Weblink Version

October 31, 2022

Cater to the preferences of your guests with DACK’s new web link.

Since the early days of DACK, there has been a robust discussion around a guest experience app versus a web link. A simple website is convenient for everyone and can be accessed by anyone at any time, on a computer in addition to a smartphone. So why would DACK create an app instead?

If you have a smartphone, you likely have an array of apps that you use every day. In fact, in 2021, the average daily time spent on a mobile device was four hours and six minutes. Of that time, 90% was spent on an app. One of the biggest advantages of an app versus a website is the ease of access and functionality it provides to you, the user, via a platform you’re most comfortable with—your phone. Notifications, location services, sound, cellular signal, and the ability to communicate with other apps on your phone are all functions that add convenience to your daily life.

DACK’s decision to offer a web link as well as an app allows hospitality operators to cater to the preferences of their guests. As DACK continues to evolve in the travel industry, we will stay focused on our number one priority: the guest.

As requested DACK is now available to every guest in any way they want to use it.

While our 80% download rate clearly indicates users don’t have an issue downloading an app, we want to make sure everyone can access the DACK guest experience platform in the way that works best for them. Every guest matters and we are committed to providing property managers with the flexibility they need to offer best-in-class service.
